Board questions

Asked often.

How do homeowners pay assessments?
Homeowners log in to KMD's custom portal to pay by bank transfer or card, set up autopay, and see their account history.
What does the board see?
Board members get access to association financials, delinquency reports, documents and open requests in the custom portal, plus the monthly statements we prepare.
We self-manage today. Can KMD take over partway through the year?
Yes. We collect your records, bank information, vendor contracts and homeowner list, set everyone up in the portal and keep the budget year running without a gap.
A home in our community is being sold. How are resale documents ordered?
Maryland requires sellers in homeowner and condominium associations to give buyers a resale disclosure package. Sellers, agents and title companies can contact KMD to request one for any community we manage.
How is the management fee set?
It depends on the number of homes, the amenities and the services the board wants. Contact us and we'll send a written quote after learning about your community.
